way; it is about God!

"What is your life? You are a mist that appears
for a little while and then vanishes."

had this or that, my life would be good."
So, why would we ever think that we
as individuals can
have purpose,
a purpose that fulfills us throughout our lives without God?

"INCLUDING" GOD IS NOT ENOUGH

It is either about us or it is about God.
one sees a "God time" and a "me time." The other sees
all one's time as belonging to God. |

THE WEDDING DAY ILLUSTRATION

one who loves the bride does not think of what they
are missing out on while serving, but only how to please the bride.
Everything in the world, in the horizontal plane,
is drawing our attention to ourselves.

It
takes meditating on its meaning
along with the illumination of the Holy Spirit,
|
|
I bring prosperity and
create disaster;
I, the Lord, do all these things."
My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I
please."
test whether or not you are living as one
who serves an
unimaginable God.
Think about the ultimate futility of serving
yourself. |

PLEASING OURSELVES AND PRESERVATION
|
It is God who gives
purpose, and that purpose is to give Him Glory by the way we live
our lives. |

OUR SIGNIFICANT INSIGNIFICANCE
|
let your light shine before men, that they may see
your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
"And
whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in
the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through
him." |

THE INTENTIONAL ASPECT
|
God wants all of our time, our hearts, and our minds.
Your time on this earth is a blessing from God.
"Be very careful, then, how you live
Prioritize the work toward each as you believe they
are important to GOD, not to your earthly desires. And do all these
FOR God.
"show me
how I can love others with your love today."
A husband's job is not
to fix his wife,
nor the relationship,
but to be the best husband he
can be,
our work on earth is for God, not others.
the gospel can ONLY be shared
with words.

THE REACTIONARY ASPECT

Everything that happens to us is ordained by God.

SUMMARY
When we stop pursuing that which will not
last and focus on living each moment for God, we become as close as
we can to be who we were created to be. |
