we're told a lot, "Love yourself." our big problem is that we're in the flesh and we're loving ourselves. When you're loved by God, you'll overflow with love to others. Because we naturally love ourselves. just as you would take care of yourself, do what's best for that other person. Love is doing what's best for others But what you have is you have your call you’re called children of God you've been given a purpose to love God and love others. if you have God's joy and God's love in you, it should be overflowing out of you.
Take the energy to go to God! The pathways Jesus gives us for our life are to love God and love others. You don't need to know any more. Agape love is God's love. Do what's best for the other person, no matter how you feel. That's love because you're helping somebody be the best they can be. What's best for the other person? You look up to the Lord. What's best? What's best for this person right now?
Love God. Love others. How many of you went through the day yesterday not thinking, "Those are the two things I should be doing." This is your purpose. Do you understand? And we forget our purpose at times, and that's why we have trouble. If you think selfishness works, go talk to the people who've been really selfish "Are you really fulfilled in your life?" those things don't fulfill.
Stop before you say something and say, "Is this going to help this person at this time in their life?" it's natural for me to have a sharp tongue But we're to speak the truth in love it's not about you and your power. It's about that other person and what's best for them We do it differently because Jesus is our everything. You still speak the truth, but you do in love. Do what's best for the other person, no matter how you feel.
