Consider the present: 1. See Psalm 118:24 and Phil 3:13. On a scale from 1-10, how much of your time (not when watching TV, reading, etc.) do you spend thinking about the moment you’re living in rather than the past or future? ___ 2. Read Isa 64:6 All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; How does that change your view of your accomplishments before God? _________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________
7. Now, consider that any accomplishments you wrote about are in the future. Close your eyes, and be in this moment. Thank God for what He’s done for you. Worship Him for his attributes including His Love and His Power. Tell Him right now you want His will, not yours. In this moment, you can’t please God more.
