Regrets are commonly for past
actions that resulted in present pain for us or others.
"Those who really know God...
never brood on might-have-beens;
they never think of the things
they have missed, only of what they have gained."
wishing we could change the
past is that, in reality, we are wishing we could take the place of
God.
God has our past, present, and
future in His hands.
We have sinned against God and wish
we could, so to speak, take it back.
all sins we've
committed, are in the past, do not at all change God's plan or
purpose.
God wants our attention on the present and the future He has
prepared for us
where we will no longer be flawed.
Learn From Mistakes
For individuals to grow, they
must learn from their own pasts.
It is the only thing that can be done
with the past, and it must be done.
Most of the time, there is a deeper lesson, and it is essential to
learn it.
If their parents treated them
with anger, as adults, they may equate making mistakes with pain.
Since admitting a mistake may
be very uncomfortable,
one may deny having done so, blame
someone else, or say it wasn't a mistake,
It Was an Accident
Accidents are rarely the cause
of failures.
We cannot increase or decrease
our value by anything we do or by anything we do not do.
Learn from the successes and
mistakes of others.
"These things happened to
them as examples
and were written
down as warnings for us,

Cor 10:11 |
We are given this moment to live for Christ.
It runs our present because by worrying, we experience emotional
pain in the present.
you ought to say, 'If it is
the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that.'"
James 4:13-15 |
We would do well to know, every
day, every moment,
how fleeting not only our lives are
but also our plans.
He never guaranteed to reward us in the same manner as the work we
do.
"Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow
will worry about itself.
Each day has enough
trouble of its own."
Matt 6:34 |
there is a personal God who loves us and has called us his children,
